Hi All!
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Our weekends are usually crazy and jam-packed, but this weekend was especially nuts. My daughter had a lacrosse tournament all day Saturday. Luckily, this one was within driving distance so we headed down early Saturday morning and spent the entire day at the fields. Her team went undefeated – so Sunday lacrosse was also on the calendar. Okay – that doesn’t sound too crazy right? Now here comes Sunday:
One twin heads to Duke for 3 weeks to take a college course. Dad takes her (12 hours round-trip).
The other twin heads to Auburn for a week for band camp. Mom takes her to Auburn after stopping at the lacrosse fields to see her sister in the championship game. It happen to work out that the fields were half-way to Auburn.
Our other daughter (on the left in the bandana) wins the entire tournament on Sunday afternoon! Luckily she stayed the night at a hotel with a teammate (cute girl on the right) so she could get to the first two games in the morning. I had to get the rest of my crew packed up.
Brother just got dragged around from tournament to band camp. He was a huge help (as always) getting all the baggage and instruments up to the dorm room in the pouring rain.
Did I mention that it was raining and/or storming the entire day and I was stupid enough to bring one of the dogs with me? Yep – just to add a little more to the crazy!
I am one tired girlie and Hubs is already asleep (snoring loudly) on the couch.
Happy Monday!
Hope your life is more heaven than havoc!

Missi,
Good Morning! Loved your blog post! This sounds very much like the same crazy busy in my world with my four teens to young adults. It was high school graduation weekend at my house with family visits from out of town, plus all of the ” normal” activity bustling about! Get some much needed rest to recharge your battery while you can before the next series of events rolls in… Some days, life with children at any age can be exhausting, but enjoy it while they are home because they grow up entirely too fast! My third of four will be “launching ” off to college this Fall and my fourth will follow next Fall!
