Teach Me Tuesday – map art

Good Morning!

We have been doing so much travelling this summer with all our kid’s activities, this project seems just perfect for us!

Who uses a map anymore? With GPS, all my old Atlas’ are sitting in the basement gathering dust. I love the idea of recycling them into cool art.  It is as simple as drawing a heart around your favorite cities, cutting it out, mounting and framing.

My daughter travels all around the country playing lacrosse. I am going to try something like the picture below with all the cities she has visited while playing. I think she would love it!   This idea is by Kika Reichert at Inspirations:

This would be amazing in any room of the house – but when it has meaning it is extra special.  What a fantastic idea for a anniversary gift – you could use map hearts of where the couple met, married, had children and lived during their married life.  I would love to receive this!  The options for map hearts are limitless – just use your imagination!

Hope your life is more cities of heaven than havoc!
