Hello Friends!
Thank you for all the birthday wishes for my sweet baby boy yesterday! We had a wonderful family birthday dinner and my little man’s favorite – cherry pie! Big party with his “boys” next weekend.
Today’s Teach Me Tuesday is another Halloween burlap art project. This project sort of came about by accident, well actually by failure. I had big plans to put googley eyes on the letters B-O-O. After completing the B and realizing how much time it took to put on all those little googley eyes, I decided to mix it up. I am so happy I did. I really like how it ended up turning out and it was so simple.
I just tied a piece of scrap orange burlap into a knot around the first O – Done! I then wrapped twine around the second O – hot glued it onto the back – Done! Much faster and easier than the googley eyes.
Tomorrow is Halloween … get going and put together your own BOO on Burlap!! You can tell me to “shut it” since I still don’t have my pumpkins! eeks!
