I Love an Accent Wall!

Good Morning!

Hope everyone has been well.  There is never a dull moment at the Smith house.  My Hubs had his heart shocked last Friday to try to get it into a normal rhythm so it will start to re-strengthen.  All was good until this morning – he knew right away something was wrong.  We were at the doctor within a half hour and sure enough his heart has popped back into an abnormal rhythm again.  The doctor is going to shock him again this Friday to see if that will get that stubborn heart to stay in rhythm.  Cross your fingers … and your toes.

Anyway … let’s talk accent walls.

I know not everyone loves an accent wall, but I am not that someone.  I think a focal point that catches your eye can make a room stunning.  What do you think of these rooms with accents walls?

So … are you as in love as I am or does it drive you crazy? I would love to know what you think of accent walls.  The wall where my fireplace is in my family room is painted a dark brown while the rest of my walls are a khaki color.  That is about as accenty as I get right now … but I would like to change that – right after I get these damn doors of mine painted dark brown.  No, I have not forgotten that I need to get this done.  It is on the list … along with 100 other things.  Ack!

Hope your life is more accent wall heaven than all your walls the same color havoc!

I love an accent wall with fabric or paper. Even hanging draped walls can give a cool dramatic flair! You just keep right on lovin those accents. :-)

  2. Me too! I’m in the process of trying to decide what to do for an accent wall in my soon to be office. Thanks for the inspiration! Have a great week!
