It’s Friday the 13th and most likely by the time you are reading this, I will be on the road (AGAIN). I am headed down to Flagler Beach, Florida for another lacrosse tournament. Hubs is home, running around the other 3 kids.
One of my twin girls starts Marching Band on Monday and summer is pretty much over for her. She will be learning the Marching Show for the football season, everyday from 9:00-4:00. Those band kids work their tails off! I never knew this when I was in high school and I regret that I didn’t pay more attention at half-time of our football games. It is a TON of really long, hot days that these kids put in to make their show perfect. If you have an athlete and not a band kid – take a few extra minutes to really watch the half-time show. This is their sport and just as important as the game! Okay … I am off my soapbox – on to FFF!
I have a gigantic design crush on Phoebe Howard. She is a world- renown southern designer that has several brands, stores and publications. I have admired her work for years. Almost every time I see a picture of a room that I love, it turns out that Phoebe Howard is the designer. It’s like her work is a magnet and I am a paperclip – I can’t get away! I could do 100 posts on Phoebe Howard, but today I am going to treat you to some of her work with the color blue. No one does blue like Mrs. Howard.
All the following images are from phoebehoward.net. I can’t recommend that you visit this website enough! Warning: make sure you have plenty of time, it will be hard to leave the site in any amount of reasonable time. Enjoy these pictures of blue from Phoebe Howard … true eye candy to brighten your Friday the 13th!
I realize this picture doesn’t have any blue in it but I couldn’t resist including it. This is a sleeping porch!! Are you kidding me? Could you die?
Check out that turquoise chandelier. Such a huge impact!
Hi … Can I please stay in your guest for like … FOREVER!? Can you spot the blue? It’s the fringe on the blanket at the end of the bed. Just a little pop y’all!
Orange and blue … I am in love!
Loving navy right now. It is like a neutral – it goes with everything!
This is a pool house! Really.
I know … I know … this is a ton of pictures (48 to be exact). It was really hard for me to narrow it down. I figure it is Friday so you have the entire weekend to look through all these images. You don’t have anything else going on – right? Ha!
I have no blue in my house right now, but I am so drawn to it so I don’t know why I don’t. I am going to start adding in some turquoise accents and see where it goes. Baby steps …
Can you see why I am totally and completely in love with Phoebe Howard’s designs? Is she incredibly talented or what?? I will have to do some more posts on Mrs. Howard – her neutral rooms are equally as stunning.
Hope your life is more Phoebe Howard heaven than Friday the 13th havoc!

I always love blue…especially with bright orange accents. I can’t wait to see your doors!
Thanks Layne! I will be showing pics of the door process for sure!
It’s overwhelming! I was scrolling down and enjoying every single picture. The above white and blue combination is really fascinating. Moreover, I really love white and after getting your choice, I would love to add blue as shown above. Thanks much and indeed.
Isn’t Phoebe Howard a genius with Blue? It is drool-worthy! Thanks for visiting Jenny – hope to see you again!
