Hi Friends -
You know that saying “Nothing tastes as good as Skinny feels”? That’s bulls**t. Diets suck – it is as simple as that. I might have mentioned to you a few weeks ago that I have started a diet. I am bored, miserable, cranky and HUNGRY. I know – I know, I am probably on the wrong diet – whatever. I have lost 20 pounds so far, but it hasn’t been without a whole lotta pouting and a little bit of b***hing. Okay – maybe a lot of b***hing. I don’t care – I am pissed off.
Pissed off that I let myself gain this much weight in the first place. Pissed off that I haven’t been able to wear the super cute clothes that I have been pinning on Pinterest. Pissed off that I am more tired than I should be since I am carrying all this extra weight around. Pissed off that there is no quick fix. It is hard work and that pisses me off.
In honor of my 20 pound weight loss, I thought that today I would show you the meal that I would eat if I were to be a naughty cheater:
Deep Dish Pizza. Oh – and do you see that salad in the background. That is NOT on the menu.
A side of Mac and Cheese. I am literally salivating right now folks. This might not have been the best idea, but let’s keep going …
Since I am cheating, let’s start the desserts with Butterfinger Pie. Yum!
Why not stick with the candy bar theme and continue with Snicker Pie?
I will finish up with Meyer Lemon Creme Brulee. Hey – lemons are a fruit, how bad could it be?
I have given up all sugar, bread, flour, pasta … you get the drift. Any one of these indulgences would make me happy – at least temporarily. Then I would be pissed off, cuz you know what they say “Nothing tastes as good as Skinny feels”!
